About the Author

Sterling Miller was born in New York City but grew up in the small town of York, Nebraska.  He currently resides in the Dallas, Texas area with his wife and two daughters.  He is a life-long football fanatic, growing up during the glory years of the University of Nebraska Cornhusker football team of which he is die-hard fan.  He retired from Sabre Corporation in November 2014 where he served as General Counsel – including a stint as General Counsel of Travelocity.com.  He now serves as Senior Counsel to Gober Hilgers PLLC, focusing on litigation, data privacy, and internal investigations/regulatory law.  He is also a frequent guest speaker at legal forums and consults with and coaches in-house lawyers.

Sterling earned his J.D. degree from Washington University in St. Louis and his bachelor’s degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University.

Sterling has an extensive collection of football books and memorabilia, including the first electric football set he received for Christmas in 1970.
